Hujambo!
My name is Eve Naledi Knepp. I teach 3rd grade at Elkton Elementary
School, and I LOVE it! I am also an EMT, which I do in my
spare
time. (By the way, driving an ambulance is a lot of fun!) I am happily
married to Rodney, and we have two dogs: a black lab named Pepper, and
a collie named Rocky. I was born in Gaborone, Botswana, but have mainly
grown up in Sarasota, FL. I went to Hesston College, then Eastern
Mennonite University. Music has been a part of my life since I can
remember. Mom says that when I was two I was singing conversations with
my grandmother! I have sung in choirs since the 2nd grade,
and
minored in music in college. Singing is a big way that I express
myself, especially to God.
I started singing with Shekinah when it first started, then I left for
a year when I moved home to Florida, but I couldn't stay away. When I
got the job opportunity in Elkton, I was able to join the group again!
I am currently enrolled in the Masters program at EMU while teaching. I
hope to teach in an orphanage overseas when it is completed! God
willing. My heart is in Africa. This is such an incredible and
wonderful group of young women who are passionate about God and music.
I am blessed to be able to be a part of it, and be a part of the lives
that these women are. God has blessed me by being able to sing, and
hopefully we are able to bless you as we sing!
